Military PPE

Military PPE Fabrics

We develop and manufacture specialist military fabrics with a single purpose: to keep people safe and protected in the most hazardous situations.

We listen, we innovate, we test, and we apply fibre positioning knowledge to deliver protection, comfort and quality.

Military PPE Fabrics

Hainsworth’s protective fabrics meet international standards and are rigorously tested in our UKAS-accredited testing laboratory.

Fabrics that offer the
ultimate protection

Passionate about protecting individuals facing hazardous situations, Hainsworth is a global leader in textile development, manufacture and application.

Fabrics that perform when lives are on the line

In 1975 Hainsworth developed the first meta-aramid fabric in the UK for fast jet protective coveralls. Our experience, dedication and passion ensure we produce the best possible fabrics tailored to exacting performance specifications. This makes us the perfect partner for your current or future woven textile requirements.

Our military PPE fabrics

Our military PPE fabrics are designed to be incorporated into a multi-layer assembly, withstanding the rigours of one of the most demanding of environments. Hainsworth offer a mid-weight TITAN™ fabric complete with our REPEL+™ finish. We also offer aramid fibre narrow fabrics as well as a wide range of non-flame-retardant webbings to complement them.

We have recently unveiled our latest investment into the future of textile innovation – a £250,000 state-of-the-art new laboratory space.

All Hainsworth Protective Fabrics meet and surpass international industry standards. Our laboratory means we can test our fabrics in-house, to ensure consistency at all stages of the manufacturing process.

Our team of lab technicians carry out a range of standard tests for evaluating specific textile properties both physical (e.g. tensile / tear strength, rub tests) and chemical (e.g. colour fastness).
