Amanda McLaren
Managing Director
Amanda has spent over 35 years working across UK Manufacturing – gaining experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive, Leisure and Textile Sectors. For over 20 of these years, she has operated at Board level.
Amanda is known as an approachable, passionate, and driven leader, who leads by example and generates results; never under-valuing the most important commodity in any Business – it’s people.
Andrew Wright
Chairman
Having led companies of all sizes, ranging from large divisions to start-ups, Andrew has extensive knowledge and experience of manufacturing both in the UK and internationally.
As Non-Executive Chairman at AW Hainsworth, Andrew acts as a coordinator between the Hainsworth Family Council and the Executive Team. With in-depth experience in the governance and direction of family businesses, Andrew brings a long-term, employee-focused perspective to his role.
Rob Taylor
Group Operations Director
Rob has over 10 years experience leading and working with a wide range of teams at a Senior Management and Executive level. He is a dynamic business leader who has driven increased business performance and positive cultural change.
He is well regarded for his honesty and integrity, as well as the enthusiasm and energy he brings to the business.
Phil Atherton
Commercial Director
Phil has spent over 35 years in commercial and sales roles spanning Drinks, Textiles, Ceramics and Gifting, selling and managing teams across the UK and globally. He has operated at board level for 25 years and enjoys the challenge of opening new customers.
Phil is known as a calm, positive and open leader who can identify opportunities and build teams to deliver them. He is a team player and committed to having the best sales team in our industry.
Lee Martin
Financial Director
Lee has spent the past 30 years in finance, working in sectors ranging from chemical manufacturing to machine tool production. In 2022 he began working at AW Hainsworth, bringing his years of experience to the textiles industry.
Having worked for global companies as well as smaller SMEs, Lee has extensive technical financial knowledge across a wide range of markets and businesses. Priding himself on his integrity and attention to detail, Lee is known as a focused and driven Financial Director.
