We are pleased to share with you our new Sustainability Report covering 2024.
This report sets a new benchmark for transparency, accountability and environmental action.
Now in our fifth year of publication, this latest report marks a major milestone in our journey, with 2024 established as a new baseline year for emissions, data tracking and sustainability performance across the mill.
A Year of Firsts
- Full measurement and independent verification of our carbon footprint (Scope 1 and 2), certified by Planet Mark
- Establishment of a new Sustainability and Engineering team with two dedicated roles
- Launch of real-time energy monitoring and department-level data collection
- A comprehensive carbon reduction roadmap, with our next target: a 5% emissions cut by end of 2025
- Major progress on waste management, maintaining our Zero to Landfill status throughout 2024
- Continued investment in water recovery, heat reuse, employee wellbeing, and local community partnerships.

- Championing education, from apprenticeships to university collaborations
- Creating inclusive spaces, including workplace support groups and DEI initiatives
- Giving back to the community, through partnerships with charities such as Zarach, Barnardo’s, and The Haworth Foundation.
